Not acceptable. Food served in 3 out of our 8 orders was not as described. Preparation showed no evidence of skill or concern. Why does Ihop allow this to continue??

Who really walks into an IHOP expecting a five-star experience? I really only come here, and continue to come here, for the convenience and location. Most recently, my bf was in town so we wanted to grab a quick breakfast before I had to rush to class. He was craving waffles and ordered the waffle combo something or other, but was disappointed with how soggy and more pancake-like it was. I had my usual eggs, hashbrowns, turkey bacon, etc and I'm not too picky so it was fine for me. Nothing memorable. My experiences here are usually very hit or miss. The service and food can either be pleasant, or all over the place. But like I said, it's right down the street so I continue to come here with some company. It's especially convenient during late nights, but heads up - it's only open 24 hours on the weekends.

This IHOP sucks. I had to send the food back because it was cold! Always disappointed when I go.

Walking in here was like a twilight zone. Dirty floors. Staff ignoring us. We finally flagged someone down and got seated. The waitress who finally came over looked like a meth addict. We ordered juice, but then were so uncomfortable that we canceled them and left.

There are good IHOP restaurants and then there is this one on Pines Boulevard beside the Publix and across the street from the Walmart. Food was lukewarm to cold. Will not be coming back.

I love ihop and this place just doesn't live up to the ihop standards. Waited an hour and 15 minutes for food. My cousin didn't get served for even longer and when we asked where her food was, the response was " oh, you didn't get your food?" And the waitress just stared blankly around the room for a good 2 minutes. My food came out cold even though I was the first one served at the table. Avoid this place at all costs!!!!!

This review is for the crepes. The crepes were awful. They were super pancake-y, oily and made into small triangles. My boyfriend had to ask for the whipped cream which didn't come out with the order. I liked the many syrups on the table which I tried to drown my bad crepe in. Maybe we should have stuck to pancakes.

Worst service ever. As a matter of fact didn't even receive service after waiting 15 minutes at the table. Finally someone came to ask for drinks, we were nice about it and asked for coffee and water... We had to leave because no one came back for our drinks at least. Mind you, there was only one other table being served, and three employees.

I always come here for some good pancakes but the service is horrible. When you get a table you will sit there and wait about 15 minutes before someone realizes you have not been attended...

Well my son wanted some breakfast for lunch we went in wrote out names down because there was a waiting list on friday we went and waited 15 min to be seated. This ihop is located on a publix strip shopping center we are regulars here the place was a bit messy and the people for the most part are decent there are a few questionable in hygiene and i agree with fellow yelpers that this should matter when it comes to the hiring process specially when ur a server and interacting with customers. The lady took our order and when the good came out she got my sons order perfect mine i requested a breakfast sampler and she brought me the sampler alright! The senior citizen version which is half of the original!! I guess i must look 55yrs old i told her to just leave it as it was and when i asked for my senior citizen discount on my bill she had the nerve to tell me i couldn't get it cuz i wasn't a senior!! Anyways we paid our bill and went on our way, i dont have much of a choice for ihop this is the closest location to me and so we always come for breakfast. Dont ever expect a 5 star service here and the bathrooms are gross avoid them at all cost

0/5. I got food poisoning from the food. Waiter obviously didn't make my order clear. It's my belief that because I corrected what kind of meat I wanted they brought me tainted meat. Another waitress serving us had blackened teeth. Would NEVER return.

Our waitress was very nice. But the food was disgusting. My eggs were burnt the sausage was overcooked the bathrooms were disgusting and I was completely grossed out by my experience I will never go back!

I tried to like this place-- I really did. Growing up in Miami where chains are all the rage, IHOP used to the go-to place for family brunches when I was younger, but as I grew older and my taste buds developed, I realized that I no longer find the food at IHOP tasty anymore. For children, yes, definitely. Yes, absolutely. IHOP has some great deals on their children menu and is children friendly. But for me, I feel that overall, almost all the food is on the greasy/salty/overly sweet side. Three stars for old time's sakes, but I don't think I'll be walking into an IHOP any time in the near future. There I said it now. I know IHOP has some strong following. Don't hate me, folks.

My family and I came here for brunch because the wait at somewhat nearby Cracker Barrel was 90 minutes, give or take a few. We are a family of 6 adults and a toddler, plus we had one of our adult cousins visiting with us from The Bahamas. We decided to go to this location because it was closer mileage wise to where we were than going to the next nearest location on West Miramar Parkway. We would soon discover that we made a huge mistake. We arrived and two members of our party went to reserve the seating, while we searched for parking in this parking lot reserved for the 35 businesses here at The Shoppes at Silver Lakes. Parking didn't take long to find at all, with many people coming and going visiting nearby businesses. We found out there was a 20 minute wait. Considering the wait time at our previous stop, we decided to stay here since we were at stop 2, already 30 minutes from home, and very hungry. Well, our 20 minute wait, wound up being an over 40 minute wait. Why you ask? Oh, I'd be glad to share! The hostess (keep in mind most titles are given not earned) chose to seat other parties the same size or 1 seat fewer before she decided to seat us, although we had been waiting for a longer period of time. Given the little waitin room inside, 2 of us waited inside, then 3, then 4 because of the extensive wait. I went inside to check on the wait after I saw a party of 6 get seated at the largest table in the room before us, although they arrived after us. When I walked inside to question the hostess about our wait, she was speaking one of the party of 6 in Spanish telling her she was just waiting on them to clean the table and they could have a seat. Now, I may be Bahamian-American, but I grew up in Miami and live in Tampa so I know some Spanish. I know what I heard and when I questioned the hostess, she advised me that she was going by the list. I told her she couldn't have been going by the order people arrived to have names placed on the list and she assured me she was. When I told her I saw the group she was seating pull up to the restaurant and come inside to put their name on the list, she then told me the lady was already on the list and said she was going by the list before walkin away hurriedly to avoid any further potential questioning/confrontation. 10 minutes later, a party of 4 was seated, followed by a party of 5, immediately followed by a party of 7. By this point, I was already inside trying to see why the party of 5 and party of 7 were seated before us, and what tables they were being seated at, since I found out the lady assured my mom she wasn't going to give away the larger tables again. By this point, I'd told the lady that she was near giving away 8 meals if this pattern continued one more time. I waited up front and she told me that she was just waiting on the bigger table to be cleaned and we would be seated next. The manager in turn (well, I assume it was him as he was the only employee dressed in a solid blue button up shirt) walked by and checked on other tables, including the party of 7 who had just been seated as they were questioning why they couldn't have the table that was being cleaned for us. The manager overheard me talking to my dad about our meals about to be paid for by IHOP because of this rude service, and before he could reply, the hostess (who overheard them) stated to the manager that the table was reserved for my family because we had been waiting and we had the child seat and she had already put it at the table. 45 minutes later, we were seated at our table. The party of two seated next to us (but may as well have been at our table because everything was so close) were finishing their meal and leaving. Another party of 2 were seated and perusing their menu as were we since we had been seated for a few minutes by the time they were seated. Actually, we were all done looking through the menus and all of us knew what we wanted. We watched the waitress take the drink and food order of the couple seated beside us, go place the order, go to the back to make the drinks, come back out, go up to the front, and do whatever else she was doing before she came to our table to take our order. By the time she came to take our order, the couple beside us had gotten their food. Mind you, the manager kept going around the restaurant talking to different customers and staff (but never came to our table in this 2,450 sqft building). Anyway, the food was brought out in a somewhat timely manner although by this point, what else could go wrong? Refills were timely. The food was mediocre overall as we have all had better elsewhere. But I guess this is the service you get when your name isn't Javier, Marcia, Mr. or Mrs. Ignacio, Gonzalez, or Suarez; and when your total for 8 people was $82.22. HEAVY SIGH!
